Hi, old buddies out there !

Long long time no see! haha

This is gotomsdos for an temporary back.

Sorry, I've been stuck to something boring, no way out. I'll not be freed until half a year +.

This time I'll post a song I howled a couple of years back to give my regards to old friends here, Better fasten a good safebell to your chair before listening, or else maybe hit your buttock to floor.

URL for audio:

It's a pity that the accompaniment on the audio was no a Gibby.

Very well done, mate! =D> No problem with the guitar tone at all. Both voice and instrument translate nicely here.

It's good to hear from you again after such a long time you didn't visit this nice place in the web.

Great perfomance, thank you very much for posting. [thumbup]

Hey again there - funny enough I for some reason thought about you approx. 10 days ago ^

Always knew you had something up your sleeve.

And what could be better than Girl From North Country.

Wish you'ld give me a little harp-solo next time. .

Hi, buddies..

You flatter me so much ! Thank you for your great encouragement. I'm just an averaged howler & plucker.

It's a Martin 2009 HD-28 on the clip. An averaged one, I myself set up a K&K mini.

STRING:

Martin MSP(4100 or 7100)

PITCH:

Down a flat (Cause the song is a bit high for my throat). So if get the guitar standard pitched, it'll sound brighter.

Play:

Fingerpicking

Record:

Sony PCM-D50, Acoustic record(no use of pickup), no afterrecord effect

Very cool performance. Your fingerpicking is fantastic! Total pro-job!

Thank you !

Did you ever find that vintage Gibson you were looking for?

Oh,no. Now because of no time & money, I'm not looking for it. I'll go on looking for it after half a year +.

Oh, God! REALLY ? Then did anything bad of me HAUNT you ?

Don't know, in a couple of seconds you flew by my brain - didn't see your name here or anything, it just happened.

Excuse me, are you behind bars, Goto, , , bars of iron. .

Just wanting to note, before Goto's take on Girl From the North Country slips too far off of page one; what a fine tribute to a great song and songwriter. To approach this song from a different native language, and culture, and to still present a studied version is such a compliment to the original. Listening to your recording over the last few days, with subtle walking bass notes in the fingerpicking, and the careful and smooth delivery from word to word- it's uncanny. For us Westerners, imagine finding Eastern culture so appealing to not only learn it's music, but to deliver a rendition of a classic song that gives the listener from that culture something for one's ear "to chew on". Quite remarkable. Thanks for the song, and the perspective.
