please help with LP Identity

Recommended Posts

I don't own this one however I wish to make it mine :-)

Well, it appears to be legit, if that's what you were wondering?

If there's no "Traditional" on the Truss Rod Cover, it may only

mean it was changed, by the original owner, at some point. I

often opt for the '59 "historic" TRC, myself. I like the wider

white beveled look. But...IF in doubt, take it to an authorized

Gibson dealer, or repair tech, or submit the serial number, to

Gibson Customer Service, for verification.

I always kinda wanted a Red version, of that guitar, for it's (somewhat) "Lucy" vibe!

Good Luck! I hope it all works out, for you. [thumbup]

I would like to buy a new LP exactly as this one is however I have to find one first. I have scoured the internet and the Gibson site and have seen LPs like but not close enough. That worn brown burst for lack of better description would be a nice addition.
