vm neck

i had believed until recently that the vm lp were the larger 50's style neck but i've read some info that confused me. does it have the slimmer 60's or the larger 50's neck?

I stand corrected,

 

I went to the Gibson Showcase yesterday and there were 5 Les Paul VM lined up (which is unusual) I felt the neck on each one and every one was slighlty different if feel (notably...size) none of them were as thick as the neck on mine. One of the guys working in the store approached me and told me he had one, I told him I did too. I asked him about the neck profile and he told me these guitars (VM) do not have a set especification for the neck...
