Is this Les Paul studio legit?

I'm eying up an LP studio on eBay that's going for a decent price. Thing is, the seller has almost zero feedback, which makes me worry. As I'd be picking it up and paying cash, I'm not worried about someone taking my money and not sending the guitar, so all I can think can go wrong is the guitar isn't legit. Can anyone help me out on that point? Here's the link:

Thanks for the replies, all.

I've agreed to buy it and will go round tomorrow and swap for the cash. I'm not getting too excited yet because something feels a bit fishy about the deal. But like I said, if I'm doing the deal in person I'm not sure what can go wrong. Fingers crossed!

... Fingers crossed!

I'll cross mine for you, too. Good luck, mate! [thumbup]

When it's done, post pics, please! [love] The appetizer from fleabay hasn't been enough for me. [biggrin] And there are some more guitar porn lovers around here...

The only thing I will say having looked at the ad again, is that hes swapped for Bare Knuckle pups which is not the worst sin cos you can swap pups without ruining anything.. Assuming they wired it all properly.. But again that can be fixed easy enough... Its a good enough price that its acceptable (id say)...

Just be aware they are super hot pickups....

Yeah, I don't mind that the pickups are swapped. Burstbuckers aren't exactly my favourite pickups anyway. I didn't realise the Mules were hot pickups, though - I thought they were in the vintage camp. Anyway, if I don't like them, like you say, they can be swapped out easy enough. I've got some Seth Lovers sitting around here somewhere...

Hmm, actually you may be right... (serves me right for not reading properly)... For some reason I always think of them as hot pickups but didn't notice the Mule bit...

And I just had a look and as you say they are voiced on the 59 PAF type pickup... so should be pretty well rounded...

Nice... :) Sounds like a good deal all in all [thumbup]

Picked the guitar up last night, no problems.

It was a long round trip after work so only had time for a quick play and no photos yet. But it sounds pretty sweet. I was expecting the neck to be slim but it feels fatter than that of my midtown. It's pretty lightweight, too, which is a bonus.
