'07 LP Double Cut

Recommended Posts

Hi friends, I would appreciate any information about this guitar. I believe it's a 2007 Les Paul Double Cut.... beyond that I'm unsure. Mahogany Body & Flame Maple top? Do we know the production size or number in sequence? Serial Number 008370612

Thank you for the help,

-Aaron

Here is a DropBox link for the images

That guitar was made at Gibson's production facility in Nashville TN, USA.

She was born on March 24th, 2007.

Production Number: 312.

May have been part of a limited production run for Guitar Center that year.

She is worth around $1,300 in mint condition, or $1,100 in excellent + condition.

That one is a beauty!!

Specs include a solid mahogany body with AAA maple top, neck-thru-body construction, 60s style slim taper neck, 22 frets, rosewood fretboard, pearloid trapezoid inlays, Burstbucker Pro pickups with Alnico V magnets, two volume knobs and one tone knob, Grover locking tuners, pearl logo inlay on headstock and a tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece.

Weight of the guitar is a little under 8 lbs.

Hope this helps!!

:)

No, she has a set neck like common with Les Paul guitars.

I am just quoting the Blue Book, and my cursory internet search sources.

The OP posted many photos, but only one of the back-side of the guitar.

Maybe my eyes are just old, and my eyeglasses need a new prescription.

sparquelito and capmaster, Thank you both! I really appreciate the information and your time.

The guitar is a complete case queen. It's practically indiscernible from new. In the right light under close observation you can see fingernail marks around the volume & tone knobs. That's it. I added three full size images to that Dropbox folder. The neck looks set.

Thank you so much. It's my first Gibson.

... Specs include ... Grover locking tuners, ...

They are non-locking here, but - @ Aaron - I wouldn't care. I have some set of either on some Gibsons and have to say that the locking ones are misdesigned. Their pegs are too short.
