Hi guys, I have been looking for a semi for a long time.

I was in search of an Epi dot, hoping I would have found a nice used cherry one.

Last tuesday I found an ad for a 96 riviera in limited turquoise and immediately contacted the seller.

Luckily I was the first one, so I had the chance to try the guitar.

The price was incredibly low, just 50 € more expensive than a new Dot so I jumped on it. I was afraid that the neck would have been as skinny as

I was afraid that the neck would have been as skinny as I found people claimed it to be in other forums, but as I strummed it I felt in love. A nice chunky C profiled neck, maybe a little narrow but totally comfortable.

This baby is in as new conditions, put .011 on and cleaned it.

Humbuckers are not muddy at all and the middle position is blues heaven.

Action is a little on the high side so later today I will try to set it up.

Definitely a good present for my 40th b'day.
