Bence Thanks.... worked like a charm! My local (not even chain) liquor store has it. It's $50, but my wife loves a sweet wine so I'll get her a holiday treat. Retired
Never have been into wine but at a hot air balloon festival they had free samples so tried a few. This one wine was the best ever. It had strawberries, oranges and different fruit inside that tempted me to try it. Can't remember the name but I could drink that stuff. Enjoy the holidays! skilsaw
The serious boozing at Christmas seems to be in decline. people are more into Quality of fine wine than quantity of hard liquor. The province wide police Breathalyzer blitz is still big, and while the number of drunk drivers they catch is down, there are still too many. Enjoy your fine beverages this Christmas, and remember, "Moderation".
rct
Awesome! Drank plenty of Tokay when we lived in Bermuda, mid 80s. Romanovs, Newport Room, Elbow Beach, all the 4 stars had Tokays on the after dinner menu, and we often had a rich Aszu with a Cuban at the Friday Night Fights under the stars at Bermuda Stadium. GOOD muthafukkin times. rct
pippy
We've discussed Tokay here before and I thought that it was about time I tracked down another bottle. Thanks for the reminder, Bence! For tonight we've got a bottle of 2001 Claret waking up gently after it's sleep. The Chateau (Verdignant) isn't one I've come across before but it's in the Pauillac canton and it's vineyards share a border with St. Estephe so I'm expecting it to be a pretty decent drop. Cheers, everyone, and have a great weekend! Pip.
