Murph
I know politics ain't allowed but, sheeze....... I don't care for the current crop. He does know economics. I bet he could be tough if he wanted. He's better looking than Marco Rubio. <_< Who's with me?

Even though I try NOT to pay attention to American politics, I agree - the current crop seems at best substandard, and at worst......bizarre. BluesKing777
Yeah for Sal 2016! A solid platform of promises limited to One Gibson acoustic guitar and One Martin acoustic guitar for EVERY person that votes for him! (Possibly leading to the largest guitar building program in the history of the world!) BluesKing777.
Boyd
Only thing is, if he gets elected there will be no time to play guitar, make videos or hang around the Gibson forum. Fixing the mess in Washington is gonna be a full time job. ;)
MissouriPicker
Our campaign slogan will be---A GIBSON IN EVERY HOME.......However, Sal has something that is a fatal flaw to every politician and because of it he would never be elected. He's TOO HONEST AND TRUTHFUL.

mountainpicker
There are three reasons I can't vote for Sal: 1. He's far too reasonable and not bombastic enough and he's not prone to outrageous statements to garner media attention. 2. His hair is not carrot orange. 3. There IS NO fixing the mess in Washington. MorrisrownSal
Too funny thread... 1) love all of you. 2) i am a dope, with so many flaws 3) i am not a leader. i'm just a dope with gas. Although.... I do believe in a Gibson in every Driveway/ household.
Boyd
Although.... I do believe in a Gibson in every Driveway/ household. Sorry, if that means I'd have to leave my Gibson in my driveway then you ain't gettin' my vote!
flatbaroque
Whilst undoubtedly a Man Of The People, i'm afraid his political opponents would be ruthless in their attacks on some of the baggage he carries.... "The Taylor Incident" for starters!

"The Taylor Incident" for starters! Not to mention the recent confession of divorcing his J-50, having a fling with others, then re-marrying the J-50. And his general polyamory when it comes to guitars.
Martin 1940D28
My opinion has no politics involved. I'd just like to mention that my favorite classified "guitars for sale" site on any of the forums are posted by Sal. My political opinion ??? deleted
mike m
Gee, maybe you'll consider Govenor instead, Sal. Seeing as our Jersey Gov. is mostly never here.
Smurfbird
I think Sal has made it clear. He made a mistake with the Taylor. He admitted it and had moved on. I prefer to see his renewed commitment to his J-50 as a step in mending this error. I'm certainly leaning towards voting for Sal, but I need to know more about these set lists of his when he plays out. "Brown Eyed Girl" is troublesome. However, "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Proud Mary" would be grounds for expulsion. Unless redeemed by an obscure Bob Dylan or Neil Young tune.
Martin 1940D28
I don't think any mistake was made by any of the folks here. Sometime we must settle just on what we want. Some of us find it early, some of us never find it. Guess it must be half the fun. Thank heavens, my search is about over, more so due to my advanced age. Have fun.
