Old standards on acoustic

fretplay

Recommended Posts

You should look up some of Buc McMaster videos. He died a great job on the old standards on a ukulele

Dave, Buck is an amazing musician.... makes everything look easy and he's blessed with a great voice.

I've heard this song done by many....but I like this version best.... not too fast, like it's usually played.

Buck is one of the best I've heard, in my opinion.

Thanks.....

If my version put you off eating, there is always...pizza, McDonalds..... [biggrin]

BluesKing777.

No, that wasn't the McD's/Pizza version. That was the going out, and someone's getting laid tonight version. Not the bar, the restaurant/hotel lounge version.

I just wasn't going out or had anywhere to go, so I had to wash a pan and use the oven for a change.

Thanks MP I like it speeded up rather than slow and sad. Of course the guitar break is overdubbed but the same guitar. Happy Christmas to you.

Pretty cool rendition, fretplay. I've been playing-around with it for the last 30 minutes or so and it ain't as tricky as I expected on the timing. Nice job, man.
