kidblast Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 well tis the season I guess, with so many guys are sharing their Christmas remakes, thought I'd toss one of mine into the ring. Merry Christmas peeps!

kidblast Posted December 22, 2015 Author Posted December 22, 2015 Takamine CD132SC (I think that was the model, MIJ) I no longer have that one, replaced it with a Spanish made Manuel Rodriquez A-cut a few years ago.
MissouriPicker Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Really good, Ray. I envy you folks who pick with such smoothness. Sounds very, very good. It definitely offers the listener the somber and serious atmosphere that often accompanies Christmas.
kidblast Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 yea, it is something I came up with. I did a few like this. maybe I should upload another? thanks to all who've commented, you're all a very kind and supportive group of people.
Allie Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Really, really enjoyed that. I truly do envy you guys that play notes and turn them into songs....Makes me wish I'd have let my dear old grandmother (may she RIP) teach me the piano 50 years ago like she wanted, If I'd have only allowed her that I'd probably know one note from another now and actually be making music on my guitar. Thanks for posting this and ....Merry Christmas to all!
Fullmental Alpinist Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Well done. Especially love those bass notes. Don't suppose there's a high res, uncompressed file of it that could be uploaded as a holiday present to your forum peeps? And, yes, if you have others we'd like to hear them. Love this holiday season for all the great music that's being posted.
E-minor7 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 A thrill in cans - sets the ambience for the higher ground of X-mas. Thanx for posting ^
kidblast Posted December 24, 2015 Author Posted December 24, 2015 Thank you all for your comments, you're all such a great bunch of people, very supportive, kind and caring. I love this place. Alpinist, I would have to look in the archives for the raw CD file that I mastered with, I have another I can share.

Ah, don't trouble yourself on my account, kidblast. Both this song and the one you've subsequently posted are so well done I was thinking they'd work well for trying out new headphones and the like. They're definitely simple, quality tracks that can be used to hear what's going on with gear (and are great to just listen to). I'm not sure to what bit rate Soundcloud compress uploaded files. And I don't think it lets us download them, that's why I asked (although I could well be wrong). Not much of a Soundcloud fan, except when the people from the forum post their work and I get to hear it. From your other post: "I think I'm almost in the spirit, been a rough year." I can definitely relate to that and pray that this year will be much better for you. FMA
