Just put this together a few minutes ago after getting energized by all the fine videos on this forum...... Lots of bottom end on this guitar, so I find myself fingerpicking lighter than usual...lol...probably should just play like "me" and not sweat it. Anyways, this last weekend, me and the guy who bought my J60 got together and did some playing and the J29 is every bit as loud as the J60, with a bit more of a higher end I think. Sweet, sweet guitar. I sanded-down the bridge and it's a fingerpicker's dream. All you need is a real, real light touch and you've got the frets. flatbaroque Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 Sounding good.They are beautiful guitars.I got to play one a few weeks ago.They are up there with the J-15 as the best of the "new" Gibsons.They don't seem to get as much comment as the J-15...they deserve to.
