blindboygrunt
Very very precious tips, thanks! Hogeye, you rule!! He's already well aware of that. .;) Is this 'built by ren' not fairly obviously a stretching of truth and imagination to add a few dollars to the guitar? I wouldn't like to give my money to this type of seller.

I wouldn't like to give my money to this type of seller. Between the hypothetical "Brazilian rosewood" and the mythical "built by Ren", the seller has done everything in his power to hype the guitar and raise the price. Let's call this what it is. With no provenance to support the claim, it's just a luthier's choice AJ. No more, no less. Worth at most half what the seller is asking, and depending on the condition, less than that. Lars68
Pepperlovesalt, you should inform your friend that this guitar is not Brazilian rosewood, and not built by Ren Ferguson as a single luthier. The guitar is Madagascar rosewood, a very good alternative for Brazilian, but the price does not reflect that. The seller is being dishonest so stay away from this guitar!
