Space Pup
I've been looking at a lot of vintage Mandolins lately and have come across the term "oversprayed" several times, mostly refering to either the body or top. Can some one clear up for just what exactly does the term "overspray" mean? Is this any indication that the instrument has been refinished? Thanks! L5Larry
"Overspray" means that a coat of lacquer (or paint, or whatever) was sprayed over the existing finish.
