Banana Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Sorry if this topic has already been brought up, I couldn't find anything in my searches. I installed a B5 (by way of vibramate) a month back, and I'm thinking it's a good idea to add a roller bridge. I hear good things about the Schaller and the Locking bridge, but their specs say 14 inch radius, whereas my SG (61 reissue) is 12. Can anyone vouch for a solid 12 inch radius roller bridge? Does the radius of the bridge even matter that much or am I making mountains out of mound hills?

jaygl Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Roller bridges are said to be tone suckers. I have no personal experience with them, but it seems that some nut sauce would be better as far as your tone goes. I'm sure someone else will chime in as I seem to think the tone sucking statement was made recently on these forums....But, the "Wilkinson" roller bridge seems to be a favorite of RB users.
