Avery Posted January 4, 2016 Share Posted January 4, 2016 That was really great. I never heard this one, so I listened to it, and then I listened to yours. Chris has such a dry, earthy voice and he's got that harmonica going in the background. It all gives it kind of a sad, haunting feel. What's cool about your version is that you brought your own voice and style to it. You've got a really smooth, rich country voice. Instead of harmonica I always think of pedal steel when I hear your songs. Smooth country, with all that emotion there too.
