I just ordered a Gibson lp standard t 2016 what are your thoughts on this year's model?

Bluntly - overpriced at £2099 when you can buy a 2015 at £1699 (or even cheaper) which as a "premium top".

An now why would I want to do that when I already have 2 new 2015 Gibson Les Paul's already? Lol its 2016 baby! A whole new year! And need an updated model. XD /,,/ rock on!

I've been down that road beginning with a '73 Les Paul Deluxe...an absolutely awful guitar from mis-matched top grain to poor fit and finish. Find one you like and would be happy playing for decades and resist the dark side of *this must be better".
