Gold Mini Grovers on Casino

This may be close to impossible, but I'm wondering if there's any remote chance of buying only 1 gold mini Grover tuner for my Inspired by John Lennon Casino. Specifically, the G tuner just doesn't seem to respond very well, as it needs to be turned much more than the others to acquire pitch. I've looked all over the internet, but have only found complete sets for sale. This is not a huge deal, as I can tune the guitar, but it just bugs me. Don't really want to send the guitar to Nashville for warranty work just for this small issue. Any thoughts or ideas?

if you are the original owner and have the warranty; contact Gibson and they can send you a replacement. no need to send the guitar to Nashville. it's super easy to replace.

You could try tightening up the screw in the center of the kidney bean that holds it to the shaft of the tuner, if its loose it may feel a little sloppy. I would also check the nut that holds it on to the head stock. I've found both these items loose on a few of my guitars and it does impact the performance of the tuners.

Worth a shot before replacing anything.

Good luck

Thanks for the replies here. I've already tightened the screw on the bean, so I'll try the nut also. If this fails, I'll try the first suggestion of requesting a replacement if possible.

Other than this very small issue, I'd like to express how much I love this guitar. I felt really fortunate to be able to snatch one recently, as the natural finish Revolution models are becoming increasingly hard to find. I've noticed a few negative comments on the Inspired By John Lennon models, but believe me, from a build quality and playability standpoint, I feel that they're miles above the standard Casino. Electronics and hardware are a large part of this as well. Here's a pic of mine:

One other thing...I'm not the original owner, so I'll have to see what Epiphone advises.

Not to be a downer, but warranties aren't transferable, so Epi won't be obligated to help you out (they still just might). You could try a local Mom and Pop if you have any around you, they are more likely to sell you a single tuner in my experience than a chain store.

I've had pretty good luck with one in my area at getting odd ball stuff, some times used sometimes new, depends on what they have on hand.

Tried your suggestion and tightened the nut just now, and it does seem to help. I honestly didn't even think of that. Thanks!
