btoth76
Hello All! I have recently posted in a thread about the nut as possible cause of fret buzz. Interesting thoughts regarding this subject I have found in this video. It is long, but I would highlight what has been said between 2:30 and 8:30. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW-DTdO2DAc Best wishes... btoth76
A capo will tell you if your nut is causing buzzing and rattling sounds. Right, but even if the height is correct, the slots itself can cause buzz. I found it out on my Recording. After it was leveled and all set up, it was still buzzing. The height was correct, but the slots were worn a little bit. Little, but enough to cause a problem. After I filled up the problematic slot, and filed a new one, the problem was gone. Cheers...
