cody78 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 That is a beauty. I still need a Gibson semi in my collection. The closest thing I have to one is an Epiphone P93 Riviera which is pretty cool, but my ultimate semi would be an ES-345 Stereo in trans brown and in second place (but only just) an ES-355 in Walnut from the 70's just like the one BB King used to play before he got his signature model Lucille.
Versatile Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 That finish does look rather special.... Funny how $'s become £'s when pricing Gibsons in the UK.... My personal journey has moved away from the 335 'family' for one reason or other Having enjoyed a 335 for 20yrs or so I now prefer the more 'acoustic' sounds of the hollow ES330 and ES225 which benefit from a touch more brightness via P90's Sometimes a simpler, more direct tonal pallet can be appropriate V
