Rabs Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 While im not really an Ibanez fan (not saying they are bad in any way) that's a sweet looking guitar
LarryUK Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Knaggs have been doing this style for a while now. But these are affordable.
jdgm Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 No thanks...especially not the maple-neck one in the vid. Weird plate surrounding the bridge pup in the s/c one; does that hide h/b routing? Yuk. Sure they're nice players, well-made but...yuk.
Blueblooded Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Looks to me like they've stolen that idea from Carvin which started building guitars like that about a year or so ago. http://www.carvinguitars.com/catalog/guitars/scb6
JayinLA Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I know this is a Gibson site and all, but I used to work for a fairly good sized guitar dealer and we sold ibanez. I have always been impressed with thier quality meets price intersection. The one being played with the maple neck and ash body is fairly bittey. The Steve Vai model is now available in a far-east build for fair money. Comes with the evertune and sustainer and whole deal for about $800. The 2016's are good. I am not a convert but if they wanted to sponser me and give me a blank check to make some guitars, hell yeah I'd play Ibanez.
