Searcy Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Some how it never occurred to me that Bowie could die... love's such an old-fashioned word And love dares you to care for The people on the edge of the night And love dares you to change our way of Caring about ourselves This is our last dance This is our last dance This is ourselves Under pressure Under pressure Pressure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ildVYgYWPqc
Pin Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 There are not many in pop music who show true genius but Bowie was one. He will be remembered long into the future. RIP David Bowie.

JayinLA Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Not just a musician, or songwriter or performer. He was incredible in all those faculties, but a true philosopher, an enlightened one-off that tried his best to conveigh the un-explainable to the rest of us. You will be missed. Thanks for the contribution to mankind that only you could have given.
Rabs Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Ohhh man.... I hadn't even seen the news yet today.. That's just shocking... Yet another sad sad loss.. R.I.P David, you brought a lot of joy to this world and it will be a worse place without you...
jaxson50 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I awoke to the news that Starman had left this world, very few people are innovators, people who are so creative they are not only artist in a specific field, they create with thier imagination a entirely new concept, We are very lucky to share time and space with these artist.RIP David Bowie
RowdyMoon Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 One of my all time fav Bowie songs....He once credited Syd Barrett for inspiring him to be himself and be ok with allowing his British " voice " to shine rather than trying to " Americanize " his sound.....and the rest as they say is history...sad day indeed...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JIiMJBqDNY and this song just reminds me of my high school days.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMThz7eQ6K0
C-RAM Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I'm in disbelief. Station to Station (still have my worn-out LP) was monumental; I clearly remember it being when I made a shift from trying to 'learn' songs, and started improvising with my Telecaster Deluxe, pretending I was throwing atmospheric licks out there alongside Earl Slick. Good travels, David. " 'cause you can never really tell when somebody wants something you want, too."
RevDavidLee Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Ground control to Major Tom - you will be missed. What an influence. You will be missed but never forgotten. One of a kind. R.I.P. David Bowie.
Drog Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Just heard this news... RIP Ziggy His talent will be missed.
