A star man will come

When diamond dogs run

We need ground control

We're losing our souls

Cali'man - I guess you were right and have your answer.

Some how it never occurred to me that Bowie could die...

love's such an old-fashioned word

And love dares you to care for

The people on the edge of the night

And love dares you to change our way of

Caring about ourselves

This is our last dance

This is our last dance

This is ourselves

Under pressure

Under pressure

Pressure

There are not many in pop music who show true genius but Bowie was one. He will be remembered long into the future.

RIP David Bowie.

HIs new album is just out according to one of my bandmates who sent me a link of one of the more avant guard tracks.

It came out on Friday. His birthday.

Not just a musician, or songwriter or performer. He was incredible in all those faculties, but a true philosopher, an enlightened one-off that tried his best to conveigh the un-explainable to the rest of us. You will be missed. Thanks for the contribution to mankind that only you could have given.

R.I.P David, you brought a lot of joy to this world and it will be a worse place without you...

I awoke to the news that Starman had left this world, very few people are innovators, people who are so creative they are not only artist in a specific field, they create with thier imagination a entirely new concept, We are very lucky to share time and space with these artist.RIP David Bowie

One of my all time fav Bowie songs....He once credited Syd Barrett for inspiring him to be himself and be ok with allowing his British " voice " to shine rather than trying to " Americanize " his sound.....and the rest as they say is history...sad day indeed......

I'm in disbelief. [sad]

Station to Station (still have my worn-out LP) was monumental; I clearly remember it being when I made a shift from trying to 'learn' songs, and started improvising with my Telecaster Deluxe, pretending I was throwing atmospheric licks out there alongside Earl Slick.

Good travels, David.
