Tober Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 im looking to get a RD standard (reissue). I'm conserned about the neck profile. it says its a 50's rounded neck. how is the compairec to the 60's slim neck? my explore, LP, and flying V all have 60's necks. my SG menace says its a 60's butdoes not feel like it. also what is the going price for one? reverb says from $900 to $1200

Didn't that guitar first appear in the late 70's? That era was known for slimmer necks.
Tober Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 The original ones supposedly had slim necks and were 25.5 scale. They also had something with the electronics. The reissue are supposedly nothing like the original except the body style. I really like the body on it but if it's the baseball bat 50's neck I'll pass
thejay Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 The RD reissues from maybe 2008ish had a 50s neck. I had one and sold them both for around those prices
