IanHenry Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Found this on YouTube, Santana live. If you've never seen them playing live I'd strongly suggest you should if you ever get the chance, the rhythm stays with you for days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GzUFbWXLDc Ian

merciful-evans Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I last saw them in the 70's. Amazing sound.
JayinLA Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Really Good Video. Great Gig. When I lived in SF, I saw em at the Warfield twice for like $10 or $11. That was after the album with all the cameos on it came out. I couldn't believe it. 2 hour sets, really cool guest performers. What a sound.
Retired Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I would love to see Samtana live. Never had the chance. I love their music.
Mike_L Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Yep. I had the privilege to see him live in Tokyo a few years back. Fantastic concert. It's nice to see he still 'has it'.
Kenny V Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I stood ten feet away from him when he played at Kent State in the early 70's. One fantastic guitar player.
IanHenry Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 I would love to see Samtana live. Never had the chance. I love their music. You really should make the effort to see them. I have to admit, the first time I saw them, I was a little half hearted about going, I've got a live album by them and I was expecting them to be a little boring with over indulgent solo's making up most of the show. I couldn't have been more wrong their show is a nonstop visual and aural feast, the music is infectious and you'll be tapping your foot to it for days if not weeks to come. I'll go to see them at any opportunity I get. Ian
