BigKahune Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 . Oh man that's so nicely done . . . on a wonderful guitar. .
duluthdan Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 That old L-G 2 is great at that subdued presentation - I tend to gravitate to this simple sort of music. Nice share, thanks.
MissouriPicker Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Just the kind of stuff that "reels me in." I can listen to this kind of music for hours. It's, bluesy, folksy, rootsy, traditional, and all of the above. You've got this and then you've got hip-hop, then all the boy bands in country....lol....I know what I choose. You simply can't beat music that truly makes a human connection.

rct Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I interrupted my regularly scheduled cruise through an Outlaws live record for this dammit. Man I'm glad I did, that was really nice and so well done! rct
BluesKing777 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Nice, thanks for posting it, BBG. It is right up my alley, style wise. No big deal, but the clunk and rattle noise you can hear in a few spots of the tune are his slide hitting frets, because the action is too low for slide, but probably a great setup for normal playing. It can get expensive doing that to the frets, take it from me..... It is dilemma because if you raise the action for clean slide, normal playing gets a bit painful. My LG1 needs a neck reset and is great for clean noted slide, but woeful for fingered notes. I am still deciding whether to get the guitar done and probably increase the value for normal players but ruin it for the slide I do? Tough one. BluesKing777.

You can have one of each. Nice post BBG. I could listen to a whole lot more of that.
blindboygrunt Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 Non-dude here enjoyed it mightily, too. ;) Ah theres more to getting your chromosomes in a certain order to be a dude. Youre a dude anne. More so than some of the males here. Glad you all liked it. I thought it was superb.
AnneS Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Ah theres more to getting your chromosomes in a certain order to be a dude. Youre a dude anne. More so than some of the males here. In some strange way, I totally get this. ;)
blindboygrunt Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 Its common in ireland to hear 'alright lads' to a group of people of both sexes. I certainly wasnt posting for men only.
E-minor7 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Splendid run - the dude knows what he's doin'. .
aerohead Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 1452631812[/url]' post='1729934'] BBG: I like it and can totally hear you doing this tune! Is he in open d on that song? Speaking of open d....... BK said:"My LG1 needs a neck reset and is great for clean noted slide, but woeful for fingered notes. If it comes at the expense of your slide playing .......Leave the bloody thing well enough alone! Lol! P.S. I obviously don't quite have the multiquote figured out yet!
58 Relic Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 From one bearded dude to another , totally awesome, just love the use of the fingertips on the guitar top as a rhythm section . Great tone to the voice as well .
Bigbob123 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Just watched that a couple of times. Great playing and a great performance - ear trumpet mic - nice.
