Koa AJ---under appreciated, until now.

I've rarely spoken of my Koa AJ and it gets used as much as any of my guitars. Here's some pics I took today and a video I recorded yesterday. Believe it or not, I think these might be the first pics I've ever taken with a cell phone...lol...had one for years.. Recorded the same song on my J29 a couple weeks back, but surprisingly I think the song sounds more gentle on this guitar... Short scale. A real easy player. Don't know who set it up, but they definitely had me in mind. Great sound, especially for almost always just using my bare fingers. A fingerpicker's dream if you're so inclined. Recorded straight into the little mic on a LifeCam...

Yeah, it's short scale. A run made for Sweetwater in 2011. I think Musicians Friend had runs of literally the same guitar two years after Sweetwater. From what I've read, the bracing is different from the J45. X bracing for both, but the AJ bracing is angled differently and is thinner and the nut is right at 1 3/4. A little bit more than the J45. Beyond that, I imagine lots of things are the same as with the other jumbo models. It gets a lot of comments too. Nice guitar to hide behind. [thumbup]
