ServantOfGod Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Hey there, I was using Elixir HD on my J-150 but I recently changed the saddle to bone from Bob Colossi and everything changed (more sustain and loudness) but too bright for elixirs. So after trying different martin strings I ended with DR rares and WOW!! great tone! Quote
AnneS Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Yep, it's my favorite on my J100xtra, also with a bone saddle. Hard to go wrong there. Quote
EuroAussie Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Try also DR Sunbeams, my J-150 loves them. Quote

mountainpicker Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 A law essay?! I bet that's an engaging form of literature. I wonder how many there are in the world? On a parallel topic, I always hear good things about DR's here. I think I will have to try some. Are there any law essays regarding them I should be aware of? Quote

fortyearspickn Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 I'll stick with Elixir 80/20s on my SJ200. They settle in and lose their brightness after a few months. I took a law course in college. Didn't have to write any essays. Just Multiple Choice: A) Guilty B) Not Guilty C) All of the Above D) None of the Above. Quote
