On Friday, 16 January 1959, at 21:45 CET I first saw the light, albeit not the light of day but the artificial light of a delivery room. I don't remember exactly though, so I have to rely on reports. [smile]

Is anybody here sharing my birthday? The probability I mentioned in the topic title just depends on date and month, not year, so let's neglect the year of birth here. Who cares about age? [biggrin]

Happy Birthday. The chances of someone here sharing you birthday are higher than you think. Apparently in a random group of 23 people, there is about a 50 percent chance that two people have the same birthday. My wife's a math teacher and she's explained it to me many times. I still don't understand it - but maybe this will help...

Hippy Bath Day!

Considering this guitar is a teenager, she's amidst her age of puberty. [smile]

Some adults here and lots in their early childhood. I keep on teaching the latter ones the basic things of guitar life the older ones already had to learn. [biggrin] That is, what comes with age like fretwear [scared]

Well, I don't share your birthday year, but mine is just one day later in the calendar month 17/01/1984. Happy birthday sir [thumbup]

My 32nd tomorrow - woohoo!

If anyone would like to buy and send me multiple guitars & amps to add to my collection that would be great [biggrin]

Perhaps you could all club together and buy me a Super 400. Anybody? No? Okay then [laugh]

I know a girl sharing your birthday. The first of two daughters of our bass player will be twenty tomorrow. Her teenage years will come to an end like that of my son one month later.

I don't share your birthday, but the statistics are, that in a group of 30 people, there's a 50% chance that 2 of them will share a birthday (not including the year).

Happy Birthday!

My hat's off to your wife. I got the credential and tried that for a few years... discovering it just wasn't for me.

You said it right - in a random group of 23 people, there is about a 50 percent chance that two people have the same birthday. So that's any two out of the group of 23 have the same birthday (with 50% chance). But that's probably not going to be capmaster's birthday, which is a different problem. In that case, it will take 253 people to get up to a 50% chance of one being the same as capmaster's (according to wiki). Interestingly, even if you get up to 365 people, you're still not assured of hitting a match with your particular date.
