Hi, i have the most beautiful EC30BKE that spend most of it's life cased, i am afraid of getting it marked or ding'd or worse stolen if i gig it...so not having the pleasure of using it should i sell? If i do will i find a nicer sounding Gibson that is not so pretty? it's 1999 made in Boseman and in colectors condition mint, like new. Anyone know a value, or can offer advice? will i regret selling?

raunchpr,

Your beautiful guitar is worth over $1,800 in that immaculate condition.

If you aren't playing it for some reason, I can only recommend selling it locally to some other player who has the money.

I wish I could afford it, personally.

I have a Takamine that is a similar design, but a much cheaper guitar.

I would LOVE to own such a Gibson acoustic-electric.

Play it.

You're getting a "used" price if you sell it.

Use it........

you are right..i'm playing it in church and enjoying it. I was in a Local guitar store and tried the newer J185 EC it did not sound as good or play as good as mine and cost a lot more.

So it's a keeper... we only live once eh ?

Thanks Phil
