Riffster Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Marshall 2525 Mini Jubilee I mean, do these people know I am not supposed to buy gear right now?
'Scales Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 just buy it anyway man, hell it even sounds great played into left handed!
RevDavidLee Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I dunno boys - $1300 for the head or $1500 for the 1x12 combo.. I'll pass. Besides I already have 4 Marshall amps so I'm good (thank goodness)
merciful-evans Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'm looking for another amp. Not sure if that one's man enough for gigging though. Also my shortlist aint that short anymore.
Pesh Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Seems rather overpriced for what it is. They give it the jubilee name and the price skyrockets.
kidblast Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 yea, it is pricey, I'd just take the leap up to a JVM combo. they do sound pretty nice all the same...
Mr. C.O. Jones Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Seems rather overpriced for what it is. They give it the jubilee name and the price skyrockets. Yeah, I have the same problem with Orange's 10th Anniversary Tiny Terror. Would love to have one but to rich for my blood. On the other hand hard-wired and made in UK, has to been paid! If I had the cash I would buy them both.
jaygl Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Nice sounding amp for sure. I have a 1987 JCM 800 4212 combo. They don't get much love , the split channels. Don't know why. Mine sounds as good or better than any Jubilee I've played, and the clean channel is great too. Mine is made the same year as the Silver Jubilee. A short clip of me noodling on it...........
daveinspain Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 To me, it looks better than it sounds… I wasn't impressed at all with the sound of that demo… Could have been the player though...
RevDavidLee Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Seems rather overpriced for what it is. They give it the jubilee name and the price skyrockets. Exactly
JayinLA Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I know that the Jubilee has a great history of players who love it, but that's about 100% markup for nostalgia. My buddy Matt's band The Bronx recorded their last record with this amp. Its every bit the Jubilee and $500. Marshall DSL 15
surfpup Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Marshall 2525 Mini Jubilee I mean, do these people know I am not supposed to buy gear right now? That's sweet... Me likeeee!... I notice it's 20 watts unlike the other mini (anniversary) heads.
