Welcome. Good thing the soundhole label is in it. ; ). You might get some good information from Fuller's Guitars in Houston, as it is one of their custom runs.

Nice deco split parallelograms all over the place, even carried into the pickguard and bridge ribbon (never saw that one before).

Enjoy it.

From time to time, Fuller's commissions custom runs from Gibson, usually with unique specifications. Your "Super 200" is from one of those runs, in 2004.

I have a "1943 Southern Jumbo" from a 2006 run commissioned by Fuller's.

Yes, that one is a Super 200 that came from Fuller's Guitars in Texas. A Super 200 is a variation of a J-200 with a cutaway and similar inlays to what's on a Gibson Super 400 archtop. It was build in 2004.

Stunning guitar.

Just send it to me and I'll guard it for you.

These type of custom guitars usually are valued starting at what a standard model would be plus extra bucks if the custom is something special. Although I really like the look I don't think it will add a lot to the value. A mint 2004 is valued at $2200-$2700 USD. That's not to say you could sell it for that. The current market dictates that.

... I paid 1500 gbp for it so im glad it looks like a good deal.

There's your insurance value. All you do by hiking up the value is pay MORE for the insurance.

1,500.00 GBP =2,135.29 USD Pretty close to book value

had a scout than there going for around 2.5k (the stds ones) over here so looks like thats my figure if i need to replace it. Also got in touch with fullers and that said it had a retail of 5k when new, shes booked into the luthier for a checkup earlynest week and to have a pickup installed, you guys got any preference on those?

Yeah , but in the good ol US j200's are all over the place .

Getting one in the UK is a trickier affair.

Id say the boy done good.

Nice guitar.

Pickup , if budget is no problem , the trance amulet seems to be king bee these days .

Im a fan of k&k and you can fit it yourself if you dont have hands like feet. Saving a pretty penny.

Congratulations on a beautiful guitar and a great find.

+1 for the Trance Amulet. I don't have it in any of my guitars only because I don't plug in often enough to justify it. I have the LR Baggs M1A and Lyric (both picked up on the used market) and I am happy with them. That is not to say they don't have their drawbacks.
