ksdaddy Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 The guitar and vocals were recorded in my living room in early '84. Tim Farrell (violin) Perley Curtis (dobro) and Norm Pooler (bass) were added later. I have to hand it to my father. He wanted to do this so he did it. He obsessed about it, worried, connived to get the money, but by God, he got it done. Kinda cool to see it show up on ebay or other sites once in a while. Dad's first album on ebay Germany
ksdaddy Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Maybe someday. I've got several copies of the album and I also have the master reel somewhere. One of these days I'm going to splurge and get the stuff I need to convert stuff to digital. I have no idea what that entails. I'm sure it's not a huge deal, I just haven't gotten around to it. Ditto for converting all my VHS home movies to DVD.

Here's what I use and it works very easily. It's so easy to use (plugs into a USB port on your computer) that I've never had a problem with it whatsoever. It will work easily for what you're wanting to do.
