IanHenry Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Found this on YouTube, Sad Café Live. Sad Café, from Manchester U.K were around in the late 70's and early 80's. They had some success in the U.K and Europe. Most importantly they were an absolutely first rate live band, with a "larger than life" character Paul Young on vocals (not to be confused with the Wherever I lay my Hat Paul Young)who Marillion's singer Fish described as one of the best frontmen in Rock 'n' Roll. After the breakup of Sad Café Paul went on to become one of the vocalists with Mike and the Mechanics sharing the roll with Paul Carrick. Paul Young unfortunately passed away in 2000 after suffering a heart attack. I was lucky enough to see Sad Café several times, an unforgettable experience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMlfqCPejH0 Ian
