buliwyf Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 OK it's not NGD but I have not (that I remember)took or posted pictures of my MM Explorer.I was having the sales guy at Sam Ash change the strings on a tiger striped ESP LTD and while waiting I saw the MM and had to try it and it rocked, especially for the same price.I really like the explorer shape and miss the couple I had especially my Gothic one.this one has a 2/3 sized body than a full sized explorer and the single humbucker Seymour Duncan HB-103 and just a volume. A set-in neck, 24 3/4" scale length and 1 11/16" width at the nut. Plus a gorgeous nitrocellulose finish,It's a killer guitar for an inexpensive gibson and it rips and thats what I wanted and I'm a sucker for white guitars. My first melody maker and something different,I like different.
buliwyf Posted February 10, 2016 Author Posted February 10, 2016 Guess theres no discussion on weather or not to string the strings over or under the stop tail piece.

I would go for a replacement featuring six adjustable saddles, and then things might change depending on design: I like different, too... ;)

buliwyf Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 I even go over the top of the stop piece on the tuneomatic on my LP.just been a habit for many years.I dig all the different bridges you put pictures of (thanks) but I must be lucky my intonation is good on my MM.
