Priority Four
I have a Yamaha FG700S for the beach. It smells like Elmer's glue. Nothing beats the smell of nitro. My son has a Les Paul that had a strong nitro smell when he bought it. I did not tell him I was buying a J45. When I got it home, I sent him a text that said "Did you know that nitro from Montana smells almost exactly like nitro from Nashville?" He showed up at my house about twenty minutes later and said "Where is it?"
Fullmental Alpinist
Why would anyone put a fruit I the guitar ? Couldn't get a rattlesnake rattle?
GibsonTCollings
Yep! Both my higher end guitars smell wonderfully and the *exact same*. They are completely different woods and manufacturers but I figured it out: they're both nitro finishes! It smells wonderful!!
Giromiglia
My J45 custom rose wood 2016 that I got last June has a lovely smell which I wish it could last forever!! Much nicer than the mahogany of my Bourgeois CB from 2007. Max
