1943 SJ (Mahogany)

Hi all,

We are in the process of trying to archive some of our (atrophied) folk materials from the 60s. We are just knocking out some examples because we almost never do this stuff anymore, and we sort of want some record -- not enough to practice, but enough use the recording system we use to demo old guitars to collect a few.

Well, in the 60s it was just guitar and voice -- no band and not even a bass. Banners are my favorite instruments for doing this kind of stuff. The one we chose for our most recent session was our 1943 mahogany SJ with the huge neck and no truss rod. I thought this might be a good place to share an example.

Let's pick,
