Buc McMaster
It's been awhile since I annoyed the forum with a uke video, so here we go. Seems the first take of this tune was a bit rushed in tempo. And I much prefer the tone of the Martin made Wurlitzer ukulele with natural gut strings........a superlative example of old craftsmanship, it is. Rainy evening here with a roll of thunder early in the take.......fitting, I think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcI41k_MD0k

Avery
You have a one-of-a kind voice, man. For those of us who are relatively new to the forum, it would be real nice if you could post a bit more often, since we haven't been hearing enough of you. :)
j45nick
Another good one, Buc. Got to admit I've got a hankerin' to hear "Stones of Circumstance" and "Streets of Helldorado" on the git-tar again someday. An chance you might post links to old versions of those tunes someday? Actually, this might do the job: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-W3tZSmFu8

Buc McMaster
Thank you for the love, folks! To be honest I haven't been singing nor playing for a couple months now and it's apparent to me that both are "use it or lose it" skill sets........not that I had a lot to begin with. I really don't want to butt in here with my ukuleles too often, being that it's pretty much a guitar forum, but it is nice to stop by from time to time and see what some old forum buddies are up to. Me? I've retired and been fishing...........

philfish
If I was catching speckled trout like that I wouldn't be playing much either. Nice fish, keep em coming songs and fish
Buc McMaster
Thanks, phil. Winter wade fishing for specks is a tradition on the Texas coast and they are beautiful fish. This momma was released after she posed for the photo.
