When purchasing a vintage Gibson on Ebay one does come to appreciate an accurate description.I think this seller strikes the right chord

"nothing major to mention other then it has lifted a little down the end where the strings start

tan in colour it measures 1 metre in length"

Probably from the custom shop during Ren's reign. The bridge was a variation on the traditional moustache known as "The Little Hitler"

Minwax Polyshades I think. Applied with a graining tool.. Awesome!

I have to admit to being fooled on Ebay by bad photo/description. A seller used a 'polyshade' product on a 30's L0 tenor that looked VG in the pics. I bought it, bittcched about it, got some money back, stripped it, applied a clear shellac and slapped it back up on Ebay. I made a couple hundred bucks...unless you add in my time and materials.

I've been fooled a few times on EBay but Thank God for PayPal. For me, as long as you follow the rules you can get scams rectified. I've had 3 incidents where I filed claims and won.

Our trading post has been great.

On the selling side, I adhere to the Golden Rule and treat others as I want to be treated and try my best to disclose anything I can think of. It shows in your feedback.

How about a little Brazilian on a Snakehead.

At least they straightened up the Gibson logo and properly placed the pick guard.

This must be from the 70's

The burst looks more like a Martin
