Retired Posted May 1, 2018 Share Posted May 1, 2018 My birthday was April 26 ~grandson April 12 ~Granddaughter 28 Sorry, I haven't been on here for a ew days, with the nicer weather I've been busy outside all day cleaning up the flower beds we have which is way too many. Ready for Spring now. Still have tons to do though. Today lunch was a Hot Turkey sandwich. Missed dinner as I fell asleep on the couch and the wife didn't wake me. Only got 3 hours sleep last night and very busy early this morning and today. Sorry I missed your Birthday Mike. The 26th huh? Were close together. Juice - 1/2 lemon, 1 lime, 4 oranges squuezed into a pint glass and topped up with water. He had pizza at his party too. This is the Birthday month. My Nephews birthday was the 1st, then John's the 2nd, then Deb's mom the 3rd, and Deb's is the 11th. Followed by Mothers Day. Tonight mixed the leftover salad with an avocado and dressing. Finishing the wine. Beautiful warm day in this part of the UK. 27c and not a cloud in the sky. Public holiday. I like a good sausage sarnie*; got some sausages in the fridge. *Nearest British thing to a hot dog: 2 thick slices of the freshest white bread you can get, buttered Grilled/fried pork sausage, sliced Tomato sauce/mustard/brown sauce/relish/whatever Put sausage on 1 slice of bread, slather with choice of sauce etc 2nd slice of bread on top. Eat at once while hot. Bacon optional but bacon sarnies are definitely another story.
