J-Doug
Hi guys, here's my latest recording, Scott Joplin's classic ragtime piece The Entertainer from 1902 on a Gibson J-45. https://soundcloud.com/tripleohdoug/the-entertainer Please ignore the clams! MissouriPicker
Real easy-going tune, Doug. Played very nicely too. This is one of those songs I never get tired of hearing. The J45 sounds real sweet.
L5Larry
Thank you very much Larry! I should add, that being so used to hearing this song played at breakneck speed, it's quite a nice change to hear it played in a more "melodic" fashion. The slower speed makes it sound much more "classical" and less ragtime.

Salfromchatham
Little rags nothing! This stuff is the real deal. Takes tremendous determination to get this down. It's above my pay grade, unless I can figure out a way to play this with three chords.... Maybe I can vary the three chords. :)

Cougar
new recording: The Entertainer (Scott Joplin) on a Gibson J-45 I fumbled around with that piece on keys many years ago. When I saw "on a Gibson J-45," I thought no way! Well, you've shown there is a way! Good work!
