capmaster
I'm deeply shocked about this very bad news. As published not before today, on 24 March 2016 the currently best-known and most successful German jazz singer Roger Cicero passed away. He was only 45 years old. http://news.newsdirectory2.com/roger-cicero-died-at-the-age-of-45-years/ This news hit very me hard for several reasons. First, my bandmates think my vocal style often is very close to Roger's although we don't play jazz. Second, some ten months before him I also suffered from a fatigue syndrome due to a myocarditis caused by influenza, and as some of you may remember, I hardly survived two pneumonias along with it. To my guess not many forumites may know him, so I linked a video of his greatest hit "Frauen regier'n die Welt" ("Women Rule The World") including English subtitles. Here's the English Wikipedia article about Roger Cicero: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Cicero R.I.P. Roger. You are sorely missed. :(
Retired
Sorry to say I didn't know him but 45? That is young! Too bad, RIP.
capmaster
His son lost the father at just seven years. Better don't think about that when viewing this intriguing video:
