pappy
Yes I did it, sold the 55, now I have been doing research on the epi hummingbird, and looking for some feedback on what you all think about them. Also off topic was watching Peter Frampton special, and he was playing his 1964 epi Texan, that was a very sweet sounding guitar . Now back to the topic at hand, any feedback will help me to make a decision. Thanks guys and gals,
Retired
You did what? Lol. You know when football players screwed up under Bo Pelini, he made them do pencil rolls. You started at the end zone, and rolled over and over again 100 yards to the other end zone. Then you rolled all the way back again 100 yards. The severity of your mistake depended on rather you did two hundred yards, or six hundred yards. Sorry I can't comment on the Humingbird, never played one. But the pencil rolls sound like a good idea. Lol just kidding Pappy,

And as to the sale it was a nice guitar, but just did not fit into my stable of guitars. And I am now going into the acoustic side and want to start with a relatively nice guitar, but not expensive. Reading I find that the vast majority of people who own the epi hummingbird give it good reviews. Plus I am going to start lessons once again and the acoustic will be easy to tote around. Retired
I fully understand Pappy. I just had to give you a hard time, joking around. When I first started playing again, my 2nd guitar was a cheap Fender acoustic, I picked it up for a hundred bucks or more new. I mean 5 months would pass and I played it every day and still in tune. Model is a FA-135CE.Yea, Bo wasn't here for long as head Coach, he had a fan club that liked him and those that hated him. He blew it when it was recorded on live TV that he told the Nebraska fans to 'explicit' off. But yea, he punished the football players with pencil rolls sometimes four hundred yards worth or more. We were told by other coaches that came to Big Red Dinners as a speaker, that many players threw up all over the field. Even if they showed up a ninute late for practice, he would tell them, "Give me 100 yards of pencil rolls!" If they fumbled the ball, it would be way more, some players fumbled 2 or 3 times a game. Most coaches had them running up and down stadium steps, but Bo had them rolling over and over and over all the way 100 yards and back till they were so sick they couldn't play.
