Controller Rmx 2

Recommended Posts

Guest Josean

Good Day, Just received an Hercules Rmx2 controller and found the following issue while using deckadance software v2 standard edition. If I move the gain control the software moves the filter control instead. On the browser section I can not open any of the playlist. Please advice.

Thanks Dj Phatso. Exactly how I turn off the filter function I'm using a panel which have the filter and gain together. Also went into the midi control section and couldn't find a way to turn the filter off. If I try the learning feature both of the rotary controls move at the same time. Please explain.

Going from memory (but I may be wrong), there is no way to simply turn the Filter on/off (as a button switch for example). You need to bring the knob back to center to take it out of the signal path.

And since the mapping is embedded into Deckadance, creating a new configuration using the MIDI learn will add it to the existing configuration and not supersede it so you have to be careful.

I'm on the road right now and can't confirm the mapping until next week.

And I was correct. I could be done by modifying the code, but as it stands, the filter is always On and affects the signal once the knob is moved from the center position (just like an EQ).
