Just picked up this Les Paul Bonamasa Tomato soup burst. The last picture shows how this guitar is a deeper colour than a regular Cherry burst. It's more orange than yellow.

Wow sweet... Lucky you :)

 

So whats the verdict?

She plays great , very low action. The neck pickup has a lot of bass response and the bridge breaks up really nice.

Nice guitar! I played one of these, and my experience was a lot like yours. Have fun with the guitar.

 

One question, though. Why is the one with the Bigsby a lot more expensive than this one? A store close to home has both Bonamassa bursts in stock, and they look and sound very similar.

The one with the Bigsby has Joe's signature on the pickguard and case. He signed them himself. They are also limited to 50 guitars. The hard tail version I have, only has the stamped signature on the truss cover and 150 instruments.
