RichG
I'll be in Punta Gorda for a few days 5/17-5/20. It's a 50 year reunion for my college fraternity so it looks to be a cross between Animal House and one of those Las Vegas buddy movies. Since I don't play golf and they plan to do that two days in a row I wonder if there's any cool music shops to check out. I guess my range might be from Ft Meyers to Sarasota. Or else I'll sit by the pool with a cold one. Rich

drathbun
My Mom passed away a year ago last October, but the last time I visited her in her Florida home in Pt. Charlotte, she took us to her favourite live music venue in Venice. My wife and I had a wonderful evening! Amazing talent, wonderful food and a terrific setting! Check it out! http://www.snookhaven.com/

RichG
Thanks guys. That restaurant looks cool. The music stores look like a place I could drop a few $ . Truth be known I've been gassing for a 1964 Epi Texan. Must remain under control! Rich

RichG
That Texan is nice but overpriced I believe.. Yes, I agree. I've been looking at them for years. Every time I think the price is too high, they get more expensive. Rich
