I find this so very, very sad:

"I've seen the needle

and the damage done

A little part of it in everyone

But every junkie's

like a settin' sun.:

I seem to have a theme going here and I finds Keith's guitar in this to be the scream of the ambulance.

"Please, Sister Morphine, turn my nightmares into dreams

Oh, can't you see I'm fading fast?

And that this shot will be my last

Sweet Cousin Cocaine, lay your cool cool hand on my head

Ah, come on, Sister Morphine, you better make up my bed

'Cause you know and I know in the morning I'll be dead

Yeah, and you can sit around, yeah and you can watch all the

Clean white sheets stained red."

Longer Than...

msp_thumbup.gif Good one! We saw Fogelberg way back in concert. He was very good. Can I add my most loved lyrics from a classic movie of all time? "As Coroner I must aver, I thoroughly examined her. And she's not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead." "If I were King of the Forest, Not queen, not duke, not prince. My regal robes of the forest, would be satin, not cotton, not chintz. I'd command each thing, be it fish or fowl. With a woof and a woof and a royal growl - woof. msp_flapper.gif

Man, I wore the High Country Snows record out... this was the single as I recall

We have all his music. I can't find a bad song anywhere. I used to probably irritate the car pool guys by playing his stuff a lot when it was my turn to drive. I couldn't get your video to play though for some reason.

Is a dream a lie if it don't come true

Or is it something worse

That sends me down to the river

Though I know the river is dry

- Springsteen

American Pie (whole song)

How about a little Pink Floyd

"Us and Them

And after all we're only ordinary men

Me, and you

God only knows it's not what we would choose to do

Forward he cried from the rear

and the front rank died

And the General sat, as the lines on the map

moved from side to side"

"Travel out across the burnin' sand

Across the ocean to some distant land

When we reach the end we'll all be singin'

And we'll all be friends

Back where it all begins"

A little George Harrison:

"Something in the way she moves

Attracts me like no other lover"

Love that one! Actually, I have tons...way too many to post. I'm a big fan of the 60's and the 70's. Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin , Crosby's Stills Nash and Young, Santana, on and on. I even love Willie Nelson, here's my Favorite of his. My Heroes have always been Cowboys, and they still are, it seems.
