C-RAM
I saw part of this system in the form of a massive thunderhead up North moving over Denver and heading East toward Kansas - looks like they may be in for more of the same today, Thursday and Friday are supposed to be even worse... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obAIKTpp5aI#t=309.59816

vangoghsear
I saw some scary video footage of a double tornado headed for/through Kansas on the Weather Channel. Prayers for them indeed.
BigKahune
. I read something like 40 tornadoes reported yesterday, most of them in Kansas. I hope those folks are okay. .

flyingarmadillo
It's that time of year in tornado alley. However, this year continues the recent trend of a below average number of tornadoes. We're just slightly above the 25th percentile. Not a big comfort if you get hit, but it does show the alarmist tendencies of news reporting:

charlie brown
We have huge "Thunderheads" All around us, again this evening! Time will tell, how "Wild" it gets. Could be devastating, could be nothing but noise? That's Kansas Weather, in Spring! There were several, all over the Southwester part, of Kansas, last evening. One area had "Twin Tornadoes," on the ground at the same instant, and grapefruit sized hail! The homeowner's insurance people HATE this time of year! So, we'll see what's in store for us, this evening, very shortly. CB
