btoth76 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Yesterday night, after the Hungarian soccer team achieved it's biggest success in the last 40 years, that's what happened on streets of Budapest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH9AeY8KICw After playing 3:3 with the Portuguese team, and finishing first in the group F, people flooded the streets. The traffic stopped and a never before seen fiesta started on streets of Budapest. More about the event: http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/season=2016/matches/round=2000448/match=2017964/postmatch/report/index.html Oh, what an evening it was! I almost got a heart attack while following the match on the radio. Bence.
btoth76 Posted June 23, 2016 Author Posted June 23, 2016 Yes. And such a tiny thing, the success of the national soccer team, can bring so many people together... Wonderful. The last time when such a mass of people celebrated the national 11 was so long ago, that only black-and-white photos exist of the reason: Bence.
merciful-evans Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I'm happy for you Bence, even though I got Portugal in the office sweepstake!
btoth76 Posted June 23, 2016 Author Posted June 23, 2016 I'm happy for you Bence, even though I got Portugal in the office sweepstake! Thank You! Unbelievable, isn't it? Who would have taken a bet on this outcome? Bence.
