jt Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Wishing a happy 73rd birthday to my LG-1. The wartime LG-1 was X-braced and featured multiple purflings top and back and a fancy rosette. Alas, it is rare: Gibson only shipped 139 of them, 138 in 1943 and 1 in 1944. This one shipped June 23, 1943. A lovely thing, but not particularly loyal: she's had many admirers. (OK, the last photo is of a different 1943 Gibson, but I couldn't resist.) First to name all of the players wins a free copy of the CD companion to Kalamazoo Gals!
