merciful-evans Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 I think I've seen this before If this is the one using Victory amps (no time to watch again now), and I couldnt tell using the PC speakers.
surfpup Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Cool comparison. A bit tomato/tomato really since each sounds great. Both at once make for a great stereo set up... a stereo chorus or delay and boom... sonic nirvana for about $1200.
merciful-evans Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 No it wasnt the one I saw, but Ive watched it now. I could hear a difference but couldnt choose a favourite between them.
dReit1 Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 I think I can hear a difference and I think I like the blue better. But I also think that trying to tell the difference with cheap crappy computer speakers is maybe not as accurate as being there. I really do covet that LP ES though. Pelham Blue?
charlie brown Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 "Blue" has a more distinct Vox "chime" (mid-range and top end), and the "Green" is a bit mellower, but they Both sound great! Which one, might depend on what kind of music you do, most often. Or, as Rob mentioned, possibly, one for "Lead" and one, more for Rhythm players. But personal preference in tone would be the biggest determinate, I think. Clearly, there's not a "bad" choice, either way. IMHO, as always. CB
