aliasphobias Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Looks like a bridge doctor in it. Not sure they do much for tone.
Dave F Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 I was wondering what that was. I've never seen one.
modoc_333 Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Same exact model as my Penny. With a little love to fix the issues with the bridge doctor, she should be a fine guitar! It's a shame that she isn't still sporting her original black tuner buttons though. Keith

Some say that when the wood wants to go back to being a tree there isn't much you can do. Others say with some brace tightening/regluing they can come back out. I would guess it depends what's going on, case by case. BTW g'luck in your future!

Dave F Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Spoke to the seller. Seemed like a nice guy. No bridge Doctor. Those are Acoustic Bridge Bolts from Stewmac. No mod to guitar. Original tuners are in the case. One shaft is bent No cracks, no repairs. Action is low but the saddle is lower. Could use a neck set. I'll try to look at in the next few days
